About Us

Jan Kalyan Charitable Trust is a grassroots nonprofit organization established in 2014 working primarily in tribal and rural regions of South Gujarat, with a strong presence in Dang district.

The organization is deeply committed to uplifting underprivileged communities through a wide range of integrated development initiatives focused on education, livelihood, health, women's empowerment.

Our Key Differentiators
Survey villages to find out-of-school children (6–14) and help them rejoin school with tailored learning. • Set up village hostels for migrant children with food, beds, and toilets to ensure continuous schooling. • Apply for water schemes like WASMO; dig wells, lay pipelines, and ensure year-round clean drinking water. • Host events and camps to boost children’s confidence; form child groups to raise awareness on rights. • Organize regular health camps; identify critical cases and support treatment with donor help. • Distribute school supplies, warm clothes, and hygiene kits yearly to children from low-income families. • Support girls from poor or single-parent homes by linking them to free urban schools and hostels. • Hold meetings with migrant parents; build trust to keep children safe and in school locally. • Start computer classes in hostels for tribal children to build digital skills and clear basic exams.
